Botanic Cē Serum by Botanic Skin (a House of Haute brand) is an anti-aging and hydrating serum for all skin types especially those with oily skin. Formulated with Salicylic Acid, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Blue Tansy, Seaweed and Caffeine, this serum provides moisture, helps with puffiness, reduces the appearance of fines lines, smoothes skin, and brightens; all without leaving the skin feeling greasy.

About the Key Ingredients: 

Vitamin C or ascorbic acid, is an antioxidant that helps protect your cells against the effects of free radicals and is necessary for the growth, development and repair of our skin tissue. Vitamin C not only protects skin from damage, but it works hand-in-hand with sunscreen, has anti-aging effects, brightens and reduces hyperpigmentation, solidifying why it's apart of the Botanic Cē Serum all-star lineup.

Salicylic Acid, alone is used to treat many skin disorders including acne, psoriasis, dermatitis of the skin, and many more. It not only reduces swelling and redness, but it also helps to unclog blocked pores which allows pimples to shrink. The ability to unclog pores also means a moisturizer is needed to hydrate the skin which is why we've add Hyaluronic Acid as a another key ingredient. We recommend using a moisturizer following its application. 

Hyaluronic Acid or HA as it's commonly referred to, isn't really an"acid" in the way we are familiar with. Instead, the gel-like water-holding molecule that's produced naturally by our bodies. It's a moisture-binding ingredient that helps keep skin plump and hydrated. HA assists skin in maintaining firmness for longer periods, and makes it appear plumper and smoother by delivering deep moisture without a greasy, oily feeling. 

Blue Tansy helps to calm and soothe irritated skin and is rich with Sabinene, a chemical component that helps to diminish the appearance of blemishes, fine lines, and wrinkles, heavily complimenting the properties of the Salicylic Acid. It's superpowers include being an anti-inflammatory agent, an antioxidant, antibacterial, and antifungal.
